Recently, I have found that my "attempt" at new things fall short, in one word...pathetic. I have really set a goal to start "journaling". However, we have seen how far that has gotten...I have probably 8 journals with the first page filled...nothing more. So my another lame attempt starts here....we will see how far this one gets :)
I heard a song back when Scottie (Andrew) left for his mission. It talked about how this girl was lost in her ways, and how she only can see her imperfections. How she thinks that she is never good enough, and that all see needed to hear was that someone loves her for the way she is. That she would change everything to have "happily ever after." That is where I get Beautiful Disaster.
If your reading my blog, you know me. Some better than others...yet I think only my VERY VERY close family & friends know I have a low self esteem. I am always comparing myself to others, and I am very hard on myself. So back in February of 2007 when I heard this song, I connected with it and got beautiful disaster...and it has stuck since. I try to not beat myself down...however being surrounded by beautiful sisters and friends...its not the easiest thing to do.
I have lived in the beautiful state of Washington for my entire life. I do love the green trees, and fresh air, however the rain is getting old. I feel in love with Arizona, because of the hot hot weather, and the tan skin I have while there. However, right now, Arizona might have to be put on hold for a bit longer.
I grew up with four sisters. Kristina left us to move mile and mile away and take my adorable nieces with her to Arizona with her awesome husband Dustin. Ronnie is currently in Utah...and I will have to tell you what I think about her current "boyfriend" Noah, when I take the 12 hour drive to go see her and meet "him" (my family doesn't believe he is real") Natalie lives at home for the next couple of months while she works as a coach and nanny as well. She is the varsity girls basketball coach at HHS and does an amazing job at it. Bree (younger) is current finishing up her senior year. She is enjoying friends and boys, and working out her knee problems. I also have been blessed with an awesome boyfriend who puts up with alot of my B.S. I am so lucky he has stuck with me through alot of trials and tribulations...and my temper :) My sisters fell in love with him cause of his personality and ability to "fit in" with the family, and of course has good jokes on me :) We have been together for almost 3 years :) He is my best friend...and I am his.. . . I think?? haha hense "hisbestfriend"
I am currently a first year coach at HHS. I am glad I am able to have the group of girls to experience, learn and grow from my first year coaching. I am also a nanny for an amazing family. I honest could not ask for a more amazing family to start my "first year at being a nanny. I could of not been able to do coaching without their flexibility and support through these last crazy months!
My mom is my hero. She is a first year teacher, and everyone knows that is hard work. She is strong and has a strength beyond belief. She is also incredibly funny, and has a real sense of humor. We love to go grocery shopping cause we get our traditional "chocolate milks" every time we go :) My dad is a big teddy bear. He has been through alot, and is still trying to treck through...even when he had his feet knocked out from underneath him...he has a great temper (hense mine) and also is very giving and looks out for all of his girls :)
I am going to work more on my blog, but here is a start I suppose, more stories and blog enteries to come....hopefully. I am VERY VERY inspired by the family I nanny for. Kyle & Tammy blog at least every other day...I was totally thrilled with their stories & pictures, and inspiration. My sister is also a blogger, not as often...however when she does, its worth a read....just cause its usually SUPER funny :)
