.so we left washington wednesday morning and headed to utah....my parents flew in saturday early afternoon....
.yea..crazy right?!?
.and why you might ask...because we blessed parker that sunday.
.my parents are awesome for flying in. thanks mom and dad.
.well gma and gpa westensee have 2 four wheelers so they brought them up, and aunt nae has 2 and my uncle has 2 and my aunt and her friend brought their 2...so we had 8 four wheelers up there. it was a blast.
.so andrew and my sister and debbie and roger rode up separate and pulled the four wheelers, and headed to the airport with the kids and picked up the parents, and we headed up...we actually got there the same time so that worked out great.
.we took turned heading out on the four wheelers, we let the younger kids head out first. my sister ronnie took brooklynn...and she LOVED it. oh my gosh my daughter is an adrenaline junky. its ridiculous. she CRIED when she had to stop. we need to get a helmet for her, because i hear thanksgiving we may be riding again, or possibly snowmobiles if it snows.
.than we headed out. adults and a few kids with the adults. it was HILARIOUS. we seriously looked like mario cart with people going in and out of people and around..oh i wish we had video. we rode around and went through puddles and went over jumps. it was so much fun. i forgot how much i LOVE riding since the past 2 years when i rode i was pregnant.
.we headed out soon after cause it was getting dark and late and starting to thunder... and i didnt want to get stuck in my mother in laws car...it was MUDDY! anyways it was great.
.we headed back to my in laws and all watched hunger games in their theatre. we were all surprised with how much it kept our attention... we didnt think it would. we all headed to bed.
.thank goodness church was at 1pm cause we were tired. i got up around 8 to get ready and curl my hair...kids woke up at 10 so we got breakfast and bathed them and did hair and headed off to church.
.parkers blessing was beautiful. andrew did a great job. i actually WROTE down what i heard during the blessing so parker could read it when he was older...sorry brooklynnn mommy failed to do this for you...but she does remember some things. just not as detailed. during the blessing andrew paused for 10 seconds or so...than wrapped it up. when he sat down afterwards he told me he about blacked out and his knee was all shaking. ops! thank goodness he didnt and gave parker an amazing blessing.
.afterwards we headed to ronnies for dinner and cake and ice cream to celebrate my mom's biorthday. yes, parker was blessed on mom's birthday. my cousin and his kids, my aunt and my other aunt all came to the blessing and also to ronnies afterwards. my awesome mother in law made the dinner and it was DELICIOUS. we did cafe rio salads/burritos. cake and ice cream was good too.
.afterwards we had to say bye to mom and dad cause they were flying out early the next morning and my aunt offered to take them. mom cried. it was so sad. i cried once we got in the car. i sure miss being so close to my mom.
.thank you mom and dad for flying out for his blessing. thanks debbie for opening your house AGAIN, making dinner, and letting us use the 4 wheelers. thanks ronnie for opening your house and for making dessert.
