.i miss the noise.

.last week the kirby family came to see ME. i was so thrilled when i saw kian and holly running to greet/jump/attack me with hugs. our apartment was much more chaotic and loud, but i loved every minute of it. sunday evening we played some board games, walked halfway up the hill to the temple, went on a car ride around town, and just talked... we had alot of catching up to do, holly and i had laughing and cuddle to catch up on. kian and i had tickling and playing jokes on each other to catch up on. tammy and i had sister talking to catch up on. and well kyle and i, we had verbal abuse that was greatly missed by one another.
.monday morning, i woke up early brought andrew to school. straightened up the apartment, got ready, and went to get donuts with holly (just like old times). when we came back to the apartment kyle said, "i cannot believe you spoil her still".... holly just got that smile on her face. Once everyone was up, and ready, we headed to idaho falls. i was squished in between kian and holly, just like old times. we got something to eat at Chilli's and than visited the idaho falls.

.we than proceeded to travel to my work, to show them around, and where i work now.... i havent even gave andrew the entire tour yet. :)

.we than stopped at a family fun center, riot zone. and mini golfed and drove go-carts. it was LOADS of fun. we had so much fun, and laughed alot.

.we than headed over to janelle's to use her club house and went swimming, the kids LOVED that. kyle did to.... tammy, janelle and i talked the entire time.

.we went to Craigo's for dinner, and Andrew actually found time to come with us. it was alot of fun, and i think that is the most i have EVER seen kian eat. the variety of pizza was so much fun, and the company was awesome too :)

.we headed back home, on the way home stopped and rented the kids a movie. than tammy and i left the boys and the kids are home, and headed out to some shopping at downeast. tammy went to town, but got VERY good buys, including her FAVORITE brand of jeans "lucky"... for only 24.99 ... WHAT A STEAL. we talked as we stopped and walked through the gardens on campus, and came home where tammy made me "calories in a dish" its actually called mud pie, but its SO rich and good, that i know i am just paying for it with every bite.

.we got home, and i was OUT. holly proceeded to cover me with some covers, and tried talking andrew into brushing my teeth for me. thank goodness andrew was there. we all went to bed, and andrew woke me up and had me brush my teeth BY MYSELF. at 7:30 am. i heard the door open, and in pops holly, who decided to squeeze in between andrew and i. we fell asleep for another hour or so, it was awesome!!

.we all got ready, and i took andrew to school, and came home real quick to say goodbye before i had to head to work. it wasnt too bad saying goodbye because in 27 days i will be in washington. i am STOKED. they left andrew and i a present. its a small plaque that states, "every possibility begins with the courage to imagine."

.thank you kirby family for driving the 10.5 hours to see me, and for your company, and raising such amazing kids. i cannot wait until august to see you guys again! love you!

.freezing cold with a alot-a-bit of wind.

.too bad that wasnt the forecast when we planned this adventure. according to the forecast it was to be "86 degrees with some morning clouds"..perfect we thought. boy were we wrong, VERY WRONG. too bad i forgot i was in REXBURG. weather looked good, a bit of sun, but not bad, until the wind hit, oh and it hit hard....and we (my curls) were done for.

.woke up at 5:30 (bree too) ...giving us 5  hours of sleep. curled my hair, did my makeup, put on the LARGE dress, and walked out the door...and here is when we began to freeze (insert FREEZING YOUR BUTTOCKS OFF HERE)....got to the railroad tracks, which i was VERY excited for, and the wind blew and it blew and it blew the curls out of my air (think of big bad wolf blowing down the pigs house, but instead big bad wind blowing out he PERFECT 1.5 hour curls...we went to one of janelles favorite spots, and tried to NOT capture more "no i am not cold, but face just looks like this naturally thank you very much"...she worked some magic.

.anywho we may try again tomorrow, we are hopfully weather turned out, HUM a bit WARMER... and we will see if andrew and i can maybe find a BIT of photogenic in us, and come out with something amazing.... but i have to say with as HORRIBLE as we are with pictures and us, janelle pulled some magic out of her sleeves and captures some AMAZING work :)

.here is a few of my favorites. more to come (hopefully) tomorrow.
