.general conference weekend & fam updates.

.i love the special spirit that general conference brings into my life every 6 months it comes around. i think we listen more carefully, and enjoy more moments when we are listening for an answer. andrew and i have been praying for two weeks prior to receive an answer during general conference on our where-abouts to move.

.i loved texas. i LOVED the weather, and all the family things close by. it pays really well. andrew gets paid hourly (for the first few years) and also can get over time (paid time and a half). he can move to different parts within the company. so if he decides I.T. is boring, he can go try out finances. we get a lump sum to move (so if we can move cheap, we can pocket the rest), andrew gets a signing bonus. he gets approx 4 weeks paid time off. he gets a christmas bonus. they have been ranked the NUMBER ONE I.T. company in the nation for 3 years now. their health care is AMAZING. my obgyn up there is AMAZING. the housing is SO cheap. we hope to buy a home around 6 months after moving there. our plan is to get a nice started home 3 bed 2 bath at first, do some fixing up ourselves. than in 3-4 years rent it out and get a bigger nicer home. (unless we find a steal of a deal short sale). we both really felt like texas was the right decision after weeks of praying and general conference.

.andrew has been trying 13 credits, the least amount he has EVER taken. (he usually takes 18-21 credits). The semester B was born, he was week one into a 21 credit semester and only took 1 day off (for her birth), and would go to school, and drive all the way to idaho falls and stay the evening, wake up around 5 to drive back and shower and get to his 7:30am class. dedicated boy. anyways, he is really enjoying his classes. he only needs 2 classes to graduate, but of course he can't just take those 2 classes, so he has some "fun" classes that dont seem too fun to me. one if an accounting class? weird kid. anyways, so he is going to school as well as working a minimum of 20 hours a week for usaa, the company he interned for during the summer in texas. so he is pretty busy, but has been really trying to have most hw and work done by the weekend, so he can spend time with us. if he does have work or hw, he gets up around 7am to have some hours put in before me and the kids get up. he usually wakes up everyday around 7 and we go to bed around 11. he is so dedicated to his family, and allows me to stay home with the kids. i couldnt be more happier, and thankful for this.

.tasha- well i have finally started "work out mode." we are getting family pictures done soon, as well as with andrew's family during thanksgiving, and i REALLY want to be to my goal weight. i walk at least twice a week with katie leder and ellie girl. we walk the indoor track and get 2-3 miles in. i also have walked by myself, and have been doing my jillian micheals workout. you want to realize you have had 2 kids, do the same workout you have done before you were pregnant and than try and do it again after having 2 kids....fail. i couldnt do half the stuff on the video that i use to, it was kinda a wake up call. "hello tash, your not in shape anymore, and you need to get your butt in gear to get where you use to be." andrew and i also looked at pictures yesterday of our honeymoon. my gosh, i want to go back to that body, with that hair color, with that hair cut (slightly longer). i told andrew all of this, and so now i am working towards getting there! i also have started a goal with my friend janelle to go to the temple at least once a week. i went this last week with her, and realize how i can have that special spirit so much more often if i would just go to the temple more often. i also go to breakfast every other week with chelsie mcguire blight and we share a great harvest cinnamon roll and talk. i enjoy this so much. i have need an "out" and some "mommy time" and between going to the temple, working out, walking, breakfast and oh...basketball. my sister and i signed up for a basketball team which i LOVE, and cannot wait to start. and considering we only have 5 girls....we will be playing the entire time. yahoo. enough about me.

.b girl. she is a handful. i think i text my mother in law once a week telling her i am shipping brooklynn off to her. i think i am not spending enough one on one time with her, and so she is acting out. cause when parker is sleeping, and its just me and her, or me and her and andrew...she is fine. so i guess its a wake up call to me to start giving this girl more attention. b says LOTS of words and talks to much more without her paci. no, i am not wonder mom and got rid of her paci, she has it when she is in bed, or in the car (otherwise she screams)...but i took it away during the day and it has worked wonders. she talks more, screams more, throws fits more...wait....did i say wonders? haha. just kidding. she will often walk by and take parker's until i realize he is missing it. she plays "mommy" all the time. she rocks her baby, pats her baby, put her baby in the carseat, wraps her baby, tries to feed/give her baby a drink. she is a GREAT mom. if she cant find her baby she uses this dog that tammy kirby got her, that she adores.  her hair is getting so long, but still slightly in that "weird" phase. she has to have her hair up, otherwise its in her face. she throws fits and throws herself on the ground. andrew and i have started to just ignore it, knowing she is trying to get attention. is LOVES her brother, and often runs to him if he is crying or needs his paci. she will rock him in his carseat and every morning she crawls up to him and says "good morning parker!" its adorable. she is a GREAT sister and daughter and we couldnt ask for more. she also pottys EVERY MORNING on the toilet, and as of today she pooed in the toilet. we are STOKED. we have tried potty training a bit, but i have not just said, "okay, this is the potty training week" she is still young (almost 18 months) but she is SO smart, that i need to just do it. she has had naked days and run around naked and started realizing when she goes potty. if she goes in her diaper, she will hit her diaper and say "diaper". she has started going to the bathroom and saying "diaper." she is SO ready, i just need to do it and get one out of diapers. she is JUST like her daddy, she can go with no nap. for example. last week she woke up at 9:30 and went until 11:30pm NON STOP. she is SUCH a daddy's girl, and though andrew doesnt like to admit it, she totally is.

.parker boy. oh my-talk about a great baby. he is such a happy/easy baby. as long as he is fed and changed, this boy is just happy and content. he eats every 3 hours. except at night, he eats around 10:30 or 11 and sleeps until 7. i LOVE it. he is either sleeping or smiling. this boy is SO CLOSE to laughing, we cannot wait. he laughed once in his sleep and it was A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E! he LOVES his mama....no, i am not just saying that. i dont know what it is, but i can get him calmed down and happy. andrew tries, he really does, but this boy just needs to see me, or hear me and he is a happy camper. he is SO CLOSE to rolling over, if he just moved his arm, he would be over in no time. he smiles at his sister whenever she is talking to him. they have a real spiritual connection...i know, he knows, who she is. he LOVES baths. oh my gosh. this boy seriously could stay in the bath all day. we take baths every night....and he kicks and kicks and kicks and kicks. its great. i told andrew if i was gone and couldnt get this guy to calm down, put him in the bath. he is a talker. his boy talks in the morning and at night the most. he loves when someone will talk to him. he LOVES to cuddle. i love love love this. we cuddle all the time and he just snuggles right up to me and falls sleeps. its great. parker will be 3 months next week. THREE MONTHS. i cannot believe it. he is SUCH a mama's boy. i love it.

.well onto the pictures, thats why your reading anyways....until next time.

.b EXCITEMENT as she flushes her pee....when i ask if she needs to go potty i also say do you need to go sit on dora...and than while she is sitting there i sing dadadadada dora! dadadadadora!
.one day b was running back and forth from me (in the front room) to andrew (in his office)...and she ended up falling asleep outside andrew's door.
.one day, b is eating cereal and she starts to SCREAM because she is mad...well apparently she was sipping milk and the cereal dumped on her head. see her excitement?
.b LOVES cereal. her favorite is marshmallow mateys (lucky charms). however, she will DRAG this bag around and than pick out the marshmallows and throw the other things....pathetic.
.b went poo on this day for the first time. she has gone poo 3 days in a row now.
.parker boy doing what he loves...SLEEPING...just like his mama.
general conference cinnamon rolls....new family tradition.

.remember how she picks out the marshmallows...well andrew thought it would be funny to JUST GIVE her the other part.
.this is what she thought about that....she just picked it up, looked right at her dad (with that face) and dropped it on the floor. hilarious.
.parker boy! he is SO sweet....hanging out with mom watching general conference.
 .and than he fell asleep.
.in between sessions of conference we went on a walk to the park. b HAD to take her baby.
 .parker smilin a bit.
.i had SO MUCH FUN with her hair...see how long its getting!?!?
 .love this girl's hair.
.off to our walk....thanks for reading.
