.wa home.

.i have been very very homesick lately.

.we finally went home.

.for only a week.

.it was too short.

.it was really nice to see friends.

.i LOVED seeing family. especially my mom.

.i spent time staring at the opened field, with beautiful trees that holds my puppy dog.

.i am even more homesick now.

.bre and mom put together a baby shower for me...yea, we had an AMAZING turnout. so good we were out of seats, used all the couches and chairs we had. it was crazy but so much fun. we played games, ate food, laughed and got spoiled in presents. i did the decorations, and LOVED how they turned out :)

.we saw friends. i dont have a picture of tammy schwanz, and the schwanz family (dang it). we also saw the oneal family. (again no pictures (dang it). and we saw the kirby family (thank goodness SHE took pictures.).

.we went jet skiing (thank you plummers) my body would say something completely different. but it was fun. i talked mom into coming 15 minutes before we headed out... and guess who got to hold baby the ENTIRE time.. yea mom, she loved it.

 

.we ate and ate. and ate some more.

and we laughed and LOVED the time with family.

.and we snuggled and loved on grandma.

.our trip so far has been so fun, we have enjoyed spending time with andrew's family. we have been REALLY lazy which has been much needed. i take 45 minutes to 1 hour to get ready in the morning, cause i dont have to stress about getting out to baby. it has been really nice. 

."the boys" headed up to the cabin today, will be there until tomorrow night. "the girls" are making baby hair bows today. i am hanging out with my sista tomorrow, and playing some ball (much needed, might be pathetic, but i am super excited). 

.we head to washington in 3.5 days. excited? much. i havent been home in 1 year and 4 months. i am excited to see friends, show off brooklynn (cause she is so stinkin cute), and spend time with my family. i CANNOT wait.

.well my next post will probably be the hair bows we make, but until than, here is a link to enjoy. brooklynn is really starting to be alot of fun. she smiles, cries, farts, burps, and laughs. grandpa westensee really had her going yesterday. we thought we got it on video, but didnt....lucky for us, uncle evan got it on his ipod touch.! yahoo!

.andrew and i have decided that we think its time we start putting brooklynn in her crib at night. i have tried it for nap today, and it just isnt going as easy as planned. i think alot of it is because i enjoy treasuring the time i have with her now, while she is small. i like waking up to her beautiful smiling face next to me. i enjoy watching her sleep while i lay there at night. i love holding her, cuddling her, rocking her to sleep. 

.she doesn't make it easy either, little bug wakes up when i put her in her crib, and than smiles at me. i pick her up, sit in my glider, and rock her to sleep. she snuggles up to me, smiles, and closes her beautiful blue eyes and falls asleep.

.she is 3 months tomorrow! 3 months. i cannot believe it.

.proud of my baby shower gift.

.so i have a friend, Chelsie Blight, who is stinkin creative it kills me. well i stopped by just as she was heading out the door to a friend's baby shower. well she has been telling me about these motorcycle diaper presents she makes, and i FINALLY got to see one, because that was her present she was taking to her shower. ADORABLE. i was just determined at that point to make one. well i had the PERFECT opportunity, with my friend Timber's, baby shower.

.so I HAVE to show if off, cause i am proud of myself, and people actually were surprised that I made it. it cost right around $20.00 (including the bear) which is what i usually spend on baby shower gifts anyways...but its WAY cool to open this up all put together, instead of individual items. the present came with,
32 diapers-2 bibs-1 bottle-1 pair of socks, 2 receiving blankets & the bear.

.my sister in law's baby shower is coming up (my mom in law and me are throwing it)...and i am trying to think of something just as cool, but for a girl... and it would be REALLY cool if i could come up with something in her western theme. . . and my mind is going....

well andrew is finally out of school. he took his last final last night, and the average was an 70% and he got 100%. this kid is a smarty and worked hard. he pulled a 4.0 taking 21 credits. brooklynn and i couldn't be more proud of daddy. brooklynn is soaking up time with daddy already. yesterday i was at a bow making party (yes, bows for babies) and learned how to make so many new and ADORABLE bows. However, little miss b was in a bad mood and wouldnt let me make any YET... so thats my project this upcoming week, and possibly with my mom in law and sister in law. i am making one today for her, to wear to a bridal shower for an amazing girl. i am thrilled to show off brooklynn to my old co-workers and celebrate brittany's marriage.

.well i have things to do, but to make up for my lack of posts, here is one that will just make you smile. we were filming brooklynn smiling at herself in the mirror, when suddenly she laughed...FOR THE FIRST TIME.. and we captured it. i watched the video over and over and over. its adorable. she has only laughed one other time since then, and that was this morning when daddy was changing her diaper, and just as he was done wiping her, she peed. it was hilarious, i swear she knows when daddy is changing her diaper, because she seems to pee whenever he does, and soak an outfit and the changing pad cover. 

.enjoy the video. we sure did. hopefully more posts to be done, and more memories to be made while we have daddy all to ourselves.
