.so i am wayyyyyyyy behind on blogging. even after posting 2 new blog posts yesterday. and since its the last of the month, i figured i would do one REALLY BIG blog post with all the pictures and videos and just write a thing or two about each one.
.i mean, common, lets be real, we all know you visit my blog for pictures and video, not to hear me blah blah blah.
.alright. so here we go.
.so i have NEVER done cow day at chick-fli-a. truth be told i have never eaten there, except a shake. im dead serious. so when i heard of some families from our ward doing it, i texted one of my girlfriends from the ward and asked if she wanted to do it with me. so we threw some things together, drew on shirts, i cut out spots for me, we even blew up a plastic glove for utters. it is definitely a start of a tradition.
.ignore the hair, i had the ac blowing FULL BLAST because it is 100+ outside. anyways. so we all got free meals. the kids got chicken nuggets, a drink, fries and an ice cream cone. i got a wrap and fries. SCORE. for FREE people. there are some families that go all out here...one family goes for breakfast lunch and dinner. since we have 4 chick-fli-a's within a 15 minute drive from us, its easy to go for all meals. she was like, "my kids LOVE it. they know its "cow day" and get excited. they play at the playset all day long as we jump from place to place and its all FREE. score. i love it.
.b's hair is awesome. she sits still most of the time and lets me french braid it. this is her showing me her "pretty hair" as she calls it. zig-zag double french braid. she looks adorable.
.after i took b's picture i IMMEDIATELY thought of this picture looking back at it. this is emma, andrew's best friend. she was killed in a car accident that her and andrew were in. she lights up a room. i just love how i told b to show me her pretty hair and she pulled it over like this to show me.
.b spend hours in the backyard if i let her. she was out playing in the backyard and pool for 1.5 hours before i had to tell her to come in for dinner.
.brooklynns very first french braid.
.andrew's calling involves him gone tuesday nights at mutrual. because the days seem so long, i mean, because i enjoy making another mess to have to clean up, i mean, because i enjoy cooking with brooklynn (yea, thats what i am suppose to say) we usually bake something tuesday nights while daddy is gone.
.b was quiet, a little TOO quiet, found her with the lotion bottle empty...it was completely full. i guess her skin will be super soft for the next year.
.passed out.
.for fhe one night we colored pictures that went with things we have been up to, to send off to uncle evan on his mission. i just went through brooklynn's coloring book and ripped out pages that would correspond to what i wrote in my letter to him about what we have been up to. it was actually a lot of fun to sit down and color, and b loved it as well. and its always fun to get pictures to with a letter.
.b is still learning the markers are only for paper, she was on a marker time out for a week after this little display of artwork across her body.

.this is the sad face parker gave me when daddy and brooklynn went outside and he didnt. he sat and cried at the door. little did he know, i was changing into my swim suit to take him out with me.
.she came up and said, "mommy, i did it!" i didnt have the heart to tell her they were upside down and are too small.
.passed out after running to redbox to pick up a movie for mommy and daddy to watch after we put the kids down for bed....well, looks like we wont have to fight bedtime tonight.
.pretty sad that my hubby can almost fit INSIDE a carseat. b was rocking him in it after church.
.andrew's dog tags, t-shirt and commands he had to memorize for his "boot camp"
.andrew signed up to do a "boot camp" for work. he said he would totally do it again, and loved to be able to have the experience. because most of his customers for usaa is military. he got to experience just 2.5 hours of being a marine, and how it feels. andrew said it was TOUGH and boy was he sore for the next week. he went through a marine boot camp, with sergeants from the actual marine core instructing him.
.move day. b was in such a good mood this day.
.parker ended up with croup. how? i do not know, but b took very good care of him and snuggled him and was nice to him while we endured a week of being sick.
.b folds my laundry! i am not kidding. i showed her how to fold my towels, and she does it. she gets so excited when i pull laundry out of the dryer and she sees towels to fold.
.she is a coloring addict. she LOVES to color.
.we are currently on another marker time out for another week because as you can see she decided to artwork her body as well.
.pioneer day was fun, and nice to get out. they had these displays that families could take pictures as. b LOVED it....
.parker on the other hand thought it tasted better.
.one activity was "shooting practice"...they had these rubber band guns and be LOVED pushing the clothes pin to release the rubber band and send it flying.
.later that day we went on a walk around the block and to get the mail.
.and stopped at the park to swing.
.this kid just had his check up today. he is in the 75% for his height and 5% for his weight. he is built JUST LIKE HIS DAD.
.what a stud. this kid is too cute.

i wish this picture was better lighting. i said, "b where is your smile" and this is what she gave me. she has been really a stink when it comes to bed time. this girl runs on no sleep. she has her dad WRAPPED AROUND HER FINGER, and sneaks down and eats otter-pops with him all the time.

.august we plan to save for a trip to arizona to visit my sister, as well as a few changes around the house. hopefully i will be able to post some fresh painted rooms :)
