.one year older and valentines day.

(this post was written ummm like a month ago. ops!)

.its official.

.no, I'm not pregnant like everyone else, let's be real here.

.im 25.

.thats right.ive lived a quarter of a century already. Phew.

.i feel old.but than when I think back...

-Andrew graduated
-Andrew has an awesome job
-we moved halfway across the u.s.
-we bought our first home
-we have 2 kids.
-we are debt free (minus our house)

All in 25 years. It actually feels pretty good. And makes me feel young.

.my birthday was a pretty good one .

.andrew worked from home and we tried out this place that is suppose to be delicious and was on one of the food network channels here in San Antonio. It was good. My plate was a bit. "Onion-y" to me... But it was great. We went as a family. Me, Andrew and the kids.

.we stopped on the way home and picked up 3 more light fixtures (we are upgrading) and than came home and took naps (except Andrew- he had to work).

.i went on a lunch date with 2 close friends and our kids. it was so much fun and SO delicious.

.we headed back home. and i prepared dinner for the missionaries. yes, i fed them on my birthday....i signed up, not even THINKING it was my birthday. yea, im getting old. andrew headed off to mutual and i got the kids to bed and cleaned up. pretty exciting birthday huh!?!?!

.valentines day. we picked up lunch and went to andrew's work. the kids played on the playground and ate, while we sat and talked. it was fabulous. on the way home, we picked up my dad's annual ice cream cake. i was beyond myself when i saw it. SO delicious. b wanted to dive right into it...but....that didnt happen. we took the kids to red robin for dinner (we had a gift card) and than came home and ate ice cream cake. it was SO good and the kids LOVED it.

PICTURES!!!

.parker's "smile" face....hopefully he gets over this before family pictures.

.the kids were beyond themselves when andrew threw them up in the air.

.my dad gets EVERY one of us girls (five) a ice cream cake EVERY year. we LOVE it.

.mid February.

C.we made it.

.we made it this far being sick-free.
.and let me tell you. It has been fabulous.

.although I don't have too many pictures to prove just how awesome our month as been. Your just going to have to take my word for it.

.we have been busy- making messes. Cleaning. Making messes. Cleaning. Basketball for mommy. Mutual for daddy. Having a mini photoshoot done of the kiddos. Going light shopping for the house. Planning trips this summer, working on cars, praying they continue to run one more year. Making messes. Building with blocks. Climbing on the counter multiple times a day. Trying new places to eat. Celebrating my birthday (a few days early- okay it was an excuse to get out). Teaching the kids to put away toys, transitioning to nursery, cooking everyday (we stopped dinner swap due to how expensive it was). Getting Parker's cast off. Trying new acne product. Getting snow. Flying helicopters into our face. Spending time as family. Enjoying our weekends. Wishing they were longer. Paying off our student loans.

.so that's us in a nutshell. I figure I will just post pictures up to date, and write a bit about each one.

.but first. I have to say I am SO thrilled that we were able to pay off our student loan. We have had it for a year. Over that yeR we paid $1200 and it only paid off $250 of the loan, the rest went to interest. I about died when Andrew told me that. So between Andrews bonus and our tax return we were able to pay the entire thing off without touching our savings. As much as I would if liked to see thAt money used around the house, towards a cruise, and in savings. I am beyond excited we were able to pay it off and not touch savings in doing so.

.wahoo.

"Mom-I'm a princess"

Loved her hair. It was SO cute.

Our playroom. Every.single.day.

B running into the corner of the dresser.

B BEGS to change Parker daily.
B LOVES building towers. I was totally impressed when she showed me this, all by herself.

My pretty 2.5 year old
My cute 1.5 year old.
My friend have me a whole tote full of books. I'm working on turning this closet under the stairs into a "reading nook"

It snowed at our house. This is the snow close up. Dippin dots anyone !!?!

Cast free!!

Obviously it was a long day . Fell asleep in the closet under the stairs

This kid is....
Trouble!!!

Girl stuck in the swing. It took like 7 firefighters to get her out. Over 25 minutes. It was ridiculous.
We had a family weekend. Full of light fixture shopping, Thai food and a sees candy stop... The kids LOVED the suckers they got for samples. I wasn't too happy.

My pretty valentine ready for church.
My other valentine. He was not happy about taking a picture earlier with his sister. Also, Andrew LOVES his hair parted and slicked down like a missionary.
See the mark on his nose and lip?! He flew his helicopter into his face!! He had scabs for a week. Poor kid.

McFlurry. One of my four favorite things I enjoyed in the last hours of being 24.
I spent time with family.
Headed to basketball.
Ate a piece or two of Sees.
Ate a mcflurry.

Up next. My birthday. Valentines Day. And the kids Valentines Mini Photoshoot.
