.finally an update of the westensee clan.

.we have been busy, busy. and now i am trying really hard to finally update my blog.

.andrew traveled to san jose california to group interview different companies there. they met with IBM, Apple, Google and Ebay. Andrew really liked it there, said if we dont intern there, or work there, he wants to visit. Andrew usually doesn't say that about other places, so it best be kinda cool. andrew still works SUPER hard and into the late hours of the night (2am or 3am) everyday to keep his grades up. he is super smart and loves spending what little time he has with brooklynn. she loves her daddy.

.me. well. i am still a nanny for one more week. than its enjoy thanksgiving, andrew is out of town again in arizona from december 1-3rd. i am picking up a few shifts here and there at the daycare. i found a family who wants me to watch their ADORABLE daughter Ellie next semester. I have been praying for an opportunity to come about so i can stay home with brooklynn but still make money for our family. i was thrilled. hopefully i can find one other family, it will be perfect. i LOVE being a mom. and love the cuddle time i have had with brooklynn and seeing her grow.

.brooklynn. oh our dear little miss brooklynn. she sits up (has been for a while), she stands at the futon (has been since she was 4 months old), she said DADADADA all the time (yea, should of been MAMAMA), she crawls "okay, drags her tummy the entire time but still gets from point a to point b doing so, she laughs when her daddy throws her in the air (she is not scared anymore), she reaches out for you to pick her up (adorable), she spits, she loves cuddling when tired, she takes long naps, she HATES hats and will try to pull them off, she loves walks outside, she enjoys playing with family/friends, she LOVES playing with your face. she is just adorable.

.oh, and it snowed again. So i had a mini photoshoot with brooklynn and took her out to enjoy the snow. so lots of pictures to look at, of brooklynn, now us :) i ADORE her beautiful blue eyes she got from her daddy.

.a princess halloween.

.for halloween this year. i wanted to do something with Brooklynn so i can record in her baby book, for first halloween... but also knew she is not going to remember ANYTHING. i was planning on attending our ward halloween party dressed up with lil miss, but my little sister got food poisoning and i was kinda caring to her needs, and also the needs of my family. so we werent able to go, i was sad, because i heard it was a blast. maybe next year.

.anyways so our ward party came and went, and halloween came. I worked that day, and the girls were so hyper it was crazy! they just wanted mom to get home, because that meant closer to trick or treating. finally lori arrrived, and i took off to get myself and b all ready.

.i texted my friend megan, and asked if her and ayla wanted to do something with me (andrew was SWAMPED with homework and was unable to come, and arom (meg's hubby) was working. so she agreed. so megan and i went dressed as cowgirls.. i did not get a picture of me, but it was the EXACT outfit as taylor swift concert, because i already had it.

Brooklynn went as a princess (fitting, right?) because I just stopped at the dollar store to get a crown, and i had her blessing dress that i failed as a mom and never got pictures from her blessing day. FAIL. so i figured put it to use one last time.

.ayla went as a workout girl. she was ADORABLE. i LOVED her little leggings she had on with her tights. it was super cute, and meg just threw on a sweatshirt that totally went with the outfit. good thing too cause it was SO cold.

.well we went to what was suppose to be this epic place to trick or treat and have games.. fail! i swear everytime i pick somewhere to go/do with the schultz family it fails me everytime. dang it. oh well.

.well by the time we got done, the girls were done and screaming. ayla was tired and so was brooklynn. so i dropped meg and alya off at her place, and went home. i had heard they had trick or treating at fatcats and it was "the place to go in rexburg" according to the radio. so i called andrew and said we were going to take brooklynn just for a few minutes for family night. so we took her. its a movie theatre and bowling alley. and they had booths from different companys handing out candy and coupons. so we out brooklynns little bag around her wrist and she would smile at the people, and they would put candy in her bag. we only went for fifteen minutes. but hey, i took brooklynn out for her first halloween. andrew and i talked on the way home how excited we are for next year, when she is older, and will be walking, and it will be a little more enjoyable.

.so thats the halloween story in the westensee household. happy late halloween, we love you brooklynn.

.yes, we find something that makes our child cry... and we dont stop... we pull out the camera and do it again.

.apparently brooklynn was not fond of me whining back at her, she was bugging me cause she was SUPER tired and whining... so i whined back.

.well than she did this reaction. i LAUGHED so hard and called for andrew to grab the camera.

.and did it again.

.they can't take your kids from you for whining at them..aka..scarring her crapless.

BROOKLYNN CRYING

.date night & pumpkin patchin'.

.so i decided last minute that we were going to do the pumpkin patch tonight, instead of early early tomorrow with arom, megan and miss ayla may. 

.this meant...

.*our hubbies/daddies could come along.

.*meg and i didnt have to go alone.

.*extra help with the girls.

.*and double date night.

.*and andrew could work all he wants tomorrow on homework, and spend friday night with his girls.

.well i have video, and pictures. andrew complained the entire time about taking pictures because it was so STINKING cold.

.my bad, it was cold, but i figured i would put on a happy face and enjoy the moment THAN and not regret it later. i LOVED taking brooklynn to her first pumpkin patch. he little chin would shiver, but she still had a smile on her face as well. it was adorable and memorable.

.after picking pumpkins, we went to Rumbi Island Grill to eat. It was DELICIOUS and really hit the spot for me. There was so much, i brought some home and plan to dig in again, once this blog is posted and my baby is asleep. she is laying next to me, watching me type. 

.we did a couple returns, while the schultz headed home to put ayla girl down.

.it was SO much fun to double, and do experience another "first" with brooklynn. 

.and tomorrow is girl time with megan some more, and lunch date at craigos with more friends.

.andrew's computer is being sent to the shop, so no videos anytime soon, so pictures will have to do for now 

...hey, its better than nothing right?!?

.so brooklynn had her first experience with snow. it was adorable. of course i got pictures and video.

.however andrew's computer is having technical difficulties, and can't do video at this time.
