.our little secret.

.andrew and i have been keeping a big secret for about, oh, for about 5 months now.

.thats right. brooklynn is having a "little see-ster" in july. we are thrilled.

.brooklynn's utah adventures.

.so this weekend we went to utah and had a BLAST!

.brooklynn has learned/experienced plenty of new things while she was there. (and we got video!)

.brooklynn has learned how to go DOWN the stairs... yes, you read that right, down the stairs. sunday afternoon we were all eating diner/lunch and talking, when all the sudden i  heard brooklynn crying. trying to figure out where she was when i realized the bottom of the basement stairs. scared, i yelled, "that brooklynn"  and threw my plate down and ran downstairs. i cuddled my baby, luckily this girl had no broken bones.. i thought for sure we were going to make a trip to the emergency room. lucky for us... we are all fine. thank goodness. grandma put baby gates immediately after that...she isnt use to having a crawling baby... and we aint use to stairs. oh well all is well, we learned, luckily not the hard way.. and all doing fine :) 

.after this, uncle evan tried to teach brooklynn how to climb up the stairs... he went once up the stairs.... than later that day uncle kevin was trying to teach brooklynn how to climb up the stairs... he also went up once with her... well it only took going up the stairs twice for little miss to figure out how to climb up them... and she is stinkin fast! here is a video of brooklynn climbing up the stairs. she is a smartie.

.brooklynn also got to try out snow mobilin with daddy on saturday. uncle evan and andrew headed up to the mt early saturday morning. grandma, grandpa, mommy and brooklynn headed up around lunch time to bring up lunch and for mommy and daddy to take a quick spin and for daddy to take a quick spin with brooklynn. they are SUPER loud... so turn down the volume when you watch the video... but brooklynn didnt cry...however when daddy stopped, she explained to us she was DONE. mommy and daddy went on a ride too on the powder one... those things haul booty! andrew and i got up to 60 mph before i smacked his leg telling him to slow down, i also screamed a good amount of the way when we were going that fast. here is brooklynn riding snow mobile with daddy.

.brooklynn also had this weird obsession of licking her lips... the video is not the best, because it seems whenever we pull out the camera.. she is a little slacker and wont do whatever we want to record as well. but she will watch us and lick her lips. its hilarious. so was doing it so much in utah i seriously that i was going to have to rub those lips down with chapstick. here is brooklynn licking her lips.

it was a great getaway for our family. we had alot of fun. now to endure the last 6 1/2 weeks of rexburg/school/ working until we are off to write a new chapter in our lives.

.valentines day.

.i had a great valentines day.

.i spent 8-3 with these two... they played really well together (as always). 

.ellie is going to be a GREAT big sister when that times comes (i guess markie and tristan will decide when that happens). brooklynn was crying and ellie went and patted her back and gave her a paci. than when brooklynn was down for a nap, she carried around this ugly ernie around and would pat his back, and held him up to her shoulder. it was SO CUTE.

.brooklynn WOULD NOT let me get a good picture of her and her $3.50 valentines day shirt i picked up from walmart the day before. so i guess these candid pictures will have to just do. you all want to see brooklyn anyways, not her shirt. haha.

.once ellie left, i took a MUCH NEEDED shower. i was so embarrassed when markie thought i colored my hair again, and i had to admit i had not shower yet. yea, thats pretty bad. than i put together andrew valentines day gift and left it on the table for when he came home. it had a dress shirt that he really wanted but they didnt have his size (i called 3 different jcpennys to find it, and did in utah... my awesome mother in law brought it up to me). A&W rootbeer. these carmel & chocolates things he LOVES. sour patch kids. and the HUGE biography book of steve jobs he wanted so bad. brooklynn and i left a note for daddy and headed out to get our valentines day cake.

.every since i can remember, my dad would buy i valentines day cake that said "To All My Girls" and had all our names on it (since I have all sisters). Well now he orders our cakes for us individually. I had NO clue they were coming back he ususally asks for our order.. but my goodness he did AWESOME without asking what he wanted. So this one said, Happy Valentines Day Breiann, Tasha and Brooklynn. and I had two pieces just last night. i thought it would be so rich, it would help me  control myself... nope. this is brooklynns first valentines day cake from grandpa. and she LOVED it. thanks dad.

.andrew did pretty good too. i walked in to beautiful pink roses (the flower we had at our wedding). chocolates, and a subscription to net flicks (true love). i made andrew his nasty wingers sticky fingers and I opted for a crispy chicken salad instead.

.it was a great valentines day. i loved spending it with brooklynn and andrew.   

.my birthday.

.i have to say my birthday weekend was AWESOME. 

.friday night andrew was a true trooper and went and saw the vow with me and 90% girls. it was okay... not truely what i was expecting. it was good, and had no sex scenes.. which shocked me to be honest. the girl next to me laughed at EVERYTHING and at the end CRIED AT EVERYTHING. it was obnoxious. than we picked up brooklynn from my sister's basketball game.

.saturday i had a baby shower, which i made another diaper motorcycle cake. andrew had a group meeting as well, so it worked out. than we trooped our way in idaho falls. andrew took me to red robin for lunch, and than shopping. yes ladies, he didnt say a word and just let me shop everywhever i wanted. i didnt go too crazy. i picked out a shirt from ross, and new jeans. i am SO THANKFUL andrew let me get new jeans from american eagle. than we picked up a few things for dinner on sunday and headed back.

.sunday (my real birthday) i slept in till 8. got up, get ready for church, and than got brooklynn ready for church too. church was great, than we headed back, and i put brooklynn down after lunch and i relaxed on the couch. than i got a few things ready for dinner...the majority of it was all crockpot (LOVE THOSE MEALS). i just had a grate some cheese, and open a can of black beans... i had everything else done in the fridge. my friends came over for dinner. they are all so sweet. the boys LOVED cafe rio... and it was so easy that i loved it even more just for that reason. than debbie and roger (andrew's parents) showed up with presents, and played with brooklynn until bedtime. they are so sweet and thoughtful for everything they do for us. brooklynn LOVED spending time with grandma the following day. she was just as happy as can be, and miss seeing both her grandparents so much.

(sorry no pictures...janelle took some pictures of me and her and megan because megan moved the following day to washington.. but i havent seen those just yet... hint hint janelle :)   )

.sees candies.

.this weekend for my birthday my in laws brought me presents...one which included sees candies. 

.not too much makes me so stinking happy i could do the happy dance. 

.i could easily name my favorite chocolates to you off the top of my head... and with most of the chocolates if you explain what is in it i can name it. (use to work there). i use to be able to just look at it, and i could name it... i still can with most of them... however, yesterday i was tested with the box my in laws got me. for some reason i could not remember the names.. but once i looked online ... it clicked. 

.well i have past on this love.

.its a love her future husband to be will hate me for, because for holidays.. she will ask for sees candies chocolate.. and they are NOT cheap. $16.10 a pound people. 

.andrew would be in ALOT of trouble if we were in utah/vancouver or somewhere close to a sees candie store. for christmas he got me 2 pounds. yes, i ate it all (with a little of his help)...yes, i know shocked right?? maybe the reason for the extra pounds this holiday season!?!

.enjoy the chocolate brooklynn... cause we only get it every so often.
