.moving, easter, brooklynn and more.

.well, we have been here about 1.5 weeks and its been an adventure. 

.moving- have i told you how much i HATE moving. my goodness, but thank goodness for a hard working hubby and cousin to get the "man work" done. for awesome an friend who stopped by with goodies for our ride. for an amazing friend who watch brooklynn on her sickest day. for many who offered help. i actually got sad pulling away from our little apartment. it was our first apartment for andrew and i. where we started a family. brooklynn's first home. it was a sad moment, but we are moving on.

.after driving to idaho falls, grabbing a bite to eat, and continuing our drive to utah, to our new temporary home...by the time we pulled into the in-laws house i was TIRED. andrew and cousin derek drove one packed car and i drove my car packed down with brooklynn by myself...luckily she slept pretty much the whole way! We got in around midnight, and thank goodness for my mom for talking to me probably 3 out of the 4 hours...otherwise i dont know if i would of made it here safely. 

.we are here in utah and loving it. andrew worked up at his family's cabin for the past week. brooklynn and i have had our own adventures throughout the week to keep us busy while daddy was gone. brooklynn is LOVING the large house to run around, the grandma who spoils her- she has got ALOT a bit more attitude, and she has a dog who she loves ridiculously too much. i also live closer to my sister, so we see each other alot. we plan at least something once a week and i am LOVING it.

.oh, and than there was easter. . . i picked up some things for our baskets, and for brooklynn's as well. she got a new easter dress,  yogurt bites, puffy little bits, fruities, and some cookies. i didnt have easter baskets set out, but the easter bunny still seemed to find his way down to our room and set out our goodies.  i put eggs out in the grass and brooklynn wanted NOTHING to do with it... so i had to put the dumb eggs on the sidewalk. pathetic. .i am just about 7 months pregnant. i CANNOT believe it. everything is going well. this baby definitely does more rolling, but i feel her ALOT lower than i did with brooklynn. b was constantly up in my ribs, and this baby is down in my lower abs. we still have not come even close to agreeing to a name... so this baby may go nameless for a very very long time...we still have a while. 

.well i think thats about it for us. . .brooklynn's birthday is coming up in less than 2 weeks. i cannot believe it. but that will probably be my next post....my baby's birthday. we are doing a birthday party for her a week after her real birthday and it should be ALOT of fun. well until than...

.i finally plugged the camera into the computer and got some pictures....yes, it was THAT HARD, and thats why it took me THAT LONG. don't judge. 

.we still have videos.. but my computer can't do them, so i am going to have to bug andrew to start uploading them onto youtube so i can put them up here... but until then, pictures for now.

.so i already did videos of our last utah trip, when Brooklynn went snowmobiling with her daddy. (okay, she rode around the parking lot a little bit, and up the road a minute and back down.. but now i have pictures too. when we got there, we had to wait around for 30-40 minutes until the boys got down to the parking lot. so we enjoyed lunch and brooklynn walked around with grandma and grandpa. she loved being outside, and hated getting strapped back into her carseat for the drive home (oh, this makes me SO happy and looking forward to our texas trip). so here are a few pictures of her having fun with andrew's parents.

.whats new with brooklynn. she waves, gives kisses, hugs her baby, pats your back when you are holding her patting hers. she LOVES to carry around and hug her baby doll (can you tell we are trying to get her into a baby lovin' mood?) she will push the button on her dog on her own to sing. she will eat everything you want to share with her. oh, and she walks! its crazy, just in the past 4 days she all the sudden decided she wanted to walk... and she did. its fun, but she definately gets into everything alot faster. she loves to dance. she loves to play at play group. she is just alot of fun. it was funny the other day andrew said, i think i will like brooklynn more than the new baby, because she is just at a fun age, and it keeps getting more fun. she definately has her daddy wrapped aorund her finger. she also LOVES bath time.. well playing in it, when it comes to actually washing her hair and body.. she would rather be playing. 

.we are slowly packing. andrew has been staying up until 3 or 4am every morning.. and living on 4 hours of sleep on most days. he has alot due for his internship.. but said next wednesday he can take a deep breath and start enjoying life a little bit more. i have a longer work week this week, so i am going to enjoy it, and than start MAJOR packing this weekend and next week. we got rid of our couch...so my front room is empty and different. but its not for too long. overall, we are doing well. andrew and i still have NO NAME for baby #2. we have not even come close to agreeing on a name. i am 23.5 weeks and feel like i look like i am 33.5 weeks! life is good here. alright enough about us.. onto some pictures of our little brooklynn girl.

.nightmare.

.so lately, i dont know why... I have been having nightmares about things happening to my family. i wake up freaking out, staring out our door into the hallway waiting for someone to pop up and come get my family. the last night i had this nightmare, i seriously NO JOKE started singing in my head I Am a Child of God in my head, and was able to go back to sleep...but last night was different. I could sing all I wanted and nothing helped. I would still fall back to sleep in that same dream, and when I was awake I swear I heard people in my apartment. I tried to wake up Andrew and talk to him, but lately he has been going to bed around 3am...so he is OUT of it when i try to talk to him. I started crying..NOT JOKING...thinking how horrible I felt and that I just wanted Brooklynn in bed with me so I knew she was safe. 

.i than said a prayer.. and afterwards laid there thinking, "why me? what is going to happen to my family?" all of the sudden a scripture popped in my head. some random scripture that i had no clue what it said... so i found the ipod touch to read it...when i first read it...i thought... what!? That did not help me at all, so I tried to log onto facebook to waste time and try to get my mind on other things.. but it said it would not connect... i thought.. i need to read more. So i went back to the scripture and read the whole chapter. All 145 verses. I was tired by the end, but felt so much comfort. I realized that there are things the Lord would like me and my family to work on. Some of the things that were said and stood out to me were just for me personally, and some were for us, together, as a family. I also realized whenever I had been having these nightmares is when I would go to bed without saying prayer with Andrew. Its something so simple, but so important. 

.i am sorry if i bored some of you, i just promised myself I would write this down on my blog and share with everyone..that prayer really works. That the scriptures are true. That God knows us, and will comfort us in times of need. When we follow God's commandments, and the way He would like us to run our households...He will bless us. Thank goodness for the gospel in our lives, and for the opportunity we have to talk to the Lord. That he will let us know answers to our problems, and comfort us, if we let Him know we need His help, and our concerns/problems. I am SO thankful.

.well, enough about me, and my horrible nightmare last night, that was a blessing really, for me to turn to the Lord for His help and love. I will post more today of videos/pictures of Brooklynn.

.one day.

.i went to bed late last night, because i KNEW i would sleep in. Brooklynn had slept in till 10:30am on Monday... and I thought for sure she would sleep in today... well she probably would of...until....

.andrew came rushing into our room, throwing clothes on, brushing his teeth and gathering his stuff saying, "can you take me?? class starts in 5 minutes?" umm. thanks hubby. love you too.

.so i had to wake up my child, and take andrew to school. 

.we came back and i thought, if i give her a bottle and cuddle with her..she will FOR SURE go to sleep. 

.wishful thinking. she is wired, dancing to dora the explorer as we speak...and now crying because she is tired and grumpy. thanks andrew.

.oh well, the sleep was good while it lasted. i was just wanted to savor every minute i could sleep before i have a newborn and toddler on my hands.. than i KNOW i wont be able to sleep. 

.dang you husband. you will pay for this when i am grumpy all day. than you will WISH you would of woke up on time and got yourself to school. you will pay. 

.this ugly cat pretty much sums up how i feel and how i am going to look today...that nasty glare...yeah, andrew will definately see this all day.

.26 days-UT.

.we have 26 days until we make the big move to utah, and than 6 weeks until we move to texas. i am anxious and excited and nervous all at the same time. i am ready to start this adventure, but at the same time the thought of texas and having a baby there scares me. i was up last night thinking about it, and hope all works out like i want it to. 

.we packed everything in our bedroom except our bed (obviously), our clothes, and andrew's computer work space on saturday. i feel like i got alot done, but look around at the kitchen, and pantry, and brooklynn's room and think there is no way i am even close to being done. things will work out, just anxious for it all. 

.since i know you all read the blog to know about brooklynn. she is definately growing up and developing some attidtude (she must get that from her dad... right?). she can walk JUST FINE and well, but refuses. if she is just standing there, and wants to get somewhere...she will walk. but if andrew and i try and get her to walk...she wont. stinker. she eats everything, and even if i JUST feed her until she is full and i sit down to eat.. she seems to have enough room to eat more of whatever i am eating. i got her this AWESOME sippy cup (same one Ellie has that Markie blogged about being so awesome)...and Brooklynn loves it. She still doesnt drink as much water as I would like yet, but she is just learning to actually like water, and she knows how to drink out of it ...and so i cant complain. ellie has one in green.. and i didnt want to get the same color for confusion.. so i went online and found the brand for cheaper on amazon.. and in whatever color i wanted.. so OF COURSE brooklynn has hot pink.

.just a few weeks after we move to utah brooklynn turns one. i am IN SHOCK my baby is almost one. we are planning a party in utah, and i got her a SUPER CUTE outfit.. that i CANNOT wait for her to wear. i still need to find/make her a shirt to go with it.. but its going to be AWESOME. 

.well sorry for the lack of pictures...my next post will for sure have video/pictures...but for now, i just wanted to update our blog and let you know we are still alive.
