.crape scare.painting.waterslides.

.i dont have much to blog about. its all pretty much the same here. but to keep from having a photo dump on my blog, i figured i would catch up to this point and write what little has been going on in the family (just watch this post will turn out ridiculously long).

.so we went to seaworld after work one day last week. i took the kids by myself and andrew met up with us. i actually got video of both kids going down the waterslides. its the best way to totally wear the kids out and get some sun and oh, did i mention free because of our season pass. so seaworld is a all the time event here....however, we have not went as much because its busy with summer. but we still go at least once a week.

.so i have to say b has turned into such a good little swimmer. she loves the water. she can jump in and swim to the surface with no problem. she holds her breath better than me. we do have a life vest for her that i use when i take both kids to the pool by myself, and she swims the length of the pool the entire time, and gets out and jumps in, it has been so nice she has figured out the whole "im not going to die, i have a life vest on" but when we are with dad or at seaworld going down waterslides i have her go without a life vest to get experience swimming and holding her breath, etc because one of us can focus on her and help her. she is a little water baby. i cannot wait to see her in arizona in 2 weeks.

(so watch the VERY end, parker turns around and puts his hands in the air like wahoo! i did it dad. its adorable.)

(poor parker....the girl didnt even turn around and say sorry and no parent around...are you kidding?)

.this is just a cute video of parker waving. he sure is getting smarter. i never taught him signs, because i was just too lazy and chasing around two instead of just one...anyways...this week alone i have taught him all done and more. he picks up quick...we LOVES to do whatever brooklynn is doing and he tries to say things, its pretty cute. he is a pointer for sure, he loves to point to things when you ask where something is..."parker where is the book?" (point to book) etc...he also will hold his finger up for the number one when you ask him how old he is.

.okay, it seems i am also posting a video and saying how we torture our children. for my defense, i did not know what this did to parker. i was upstairs getting my phone so we could facetime with grandparents sunday after church and i hear andrew full on laughing and parker crying. i had no clue what was going on and than andrew yells tasha, come here and film this. i had NO clue he reacted like this. anyways. so we had crapes for dinner and andrew made a face out of his and it scared parker real bad. i couldnt help but laugh, because lets be real, its hilarious. but it seems its just another video of us torturing our children. poor kids.

.parker was covered from head to toe in stickers after this. he just sits there and lets her do pretty much anything to him. what a good sport.
.i seriously LOVE doing her hair. i love trying things out with my hair, and i love doing other peoples hair, b's hair is just at such an awesome length that i am really starting to enjoy it.
 .happy kid.
.i cant complain with him....we found out he has allergies here and he is teething, but he is still sleeping amazing and pretty happy spirits overall.
 .seaworld trip.

.dont you love all the paint colors...holy shoot. this is HALF of them. we have spent $35 JUST in paint samples. and no, i am not even kidding.

.andrew- he is working like a mad man...oh, and he is working a side job as well for my dad. no, i am not kidding. he works anywhere from 45-48 hours for usaa and will be working 8-12 hours for my dad's company helping them out. he also attends mutual, and on sundays he teaches 3rd hour. this is hard for me, and the kids, but i know that being supportive will just make the situation better.

.me- i painted our bedroom, in the process of painting brooklynns room and my family room. i am pretty happy with how things are turning out, just all in time, and a big process. i realized i never posted a video of our house...so since i dont want to reveal our master bedroom just yet, i figured i would post a video of our house.... in the video i say "weird kitchen" funny thing is, now that i have lived in it, its really not bad at all, same with the ledge, and our bathroom. we still have a list of things to do, but we are loving the house. so this is before we even officially had it.. . so the obnoxious beeping is the fire alarms, the guy talking to andrew is the home inspector, and nothing is in the house, its totally bare, but as i get rooms done, i will post before and after pictures.

.we have plans for the house, all in time...this is our 5 year plan with the house.
**.rip out tile/carpet on main level and put 18X18 tile down and in different color.
**close in the front room. we plan to add french doors to the room when you first walk in, this would turn into andrew's office.
**re-carpet the entire upstairs
**stain or paint our cabinets. i vote to stain them dark, and andrew has lately been talking about painting them white
**upgrade our countertops to granite
**paint all the rooms
**rock our "bar" to match our fireplace
**re-do our bathroom (we are really back and forth on this)
**add wainscoting in our front entry
**build shelves in our garage (andrew is a pro at this...thanks debbie :)
**build flowerbeds in the front and backyard
**get our grass to look green again.
**possibly build a shed in the backyard

there is probably more, but this list is long enough for me

so here is a video tour of the house...

  2. I know I'm late, but I'm commenting anyway. Your house is awesome and perfect in every way--everything is big in Texas. And Ellie loved watching the videos of Brooklynn and Parker... as usual. Love you guys!
