.the next step.

.i am currently writing this, listening to holly play her heart out with her new nanny. she LOVES her, and i think this transition is going to be a bit easier than we all anticipated. which is good. VERY good. i want holly and kian to learn about moving on with life, but also realize that life goes on. but of course know, that i love them like they are my own kids. i am not going to lie, seeing holly move on so easily is hard however. i didnt get my normal "TASHA!" hug this morning. no sitting on my lap, i didnt get a kiss from her, or wanting to play with me, its REALLY hard on me. but i need to think whats good for the kids, and right now, being able to be happy with thier new nanny is good. tomorrow is going to be hard, but hearing holly happy with her new nanny makes things ALOT easier. however, tomorrow is still going to bring tears, and its going to be rough, to let go of these guys. i love these kids SO much.

.going, going, GONE.

.gone. i cannot believe that march has come and gone, and we are now in april. you know what that means, ...MOVING. i am in shock that we are moving here in 11 days. i am so not ready, emotionally and in reality. i am not packed up. maybe that means we don't have to move?

.andrew has been staying busy doing many chores for mom and dad, as well as working non stop on computers at different houses. we have been getting in a some "tiffs" about his computer obsession...more that he was ALWAYS gone, picking up computer parts, spending MILLIONS of hours on fixing the computer at home, after spending MANY hours AT the individuals home working on the computer. my grumpiness was soon calmed, when he brought home a check :)

.tasha. i have been working many many many hours at sees. i was a bit stressed about this week, having to work around 36 hours. but in all it worked out great. it was the same weekend of spring break for the kirbys, so i didn't miss MORE hours away from kian and holly. it was a good week, long days, slow days, fast days, and an extra check. sees is a great place to work, with amazing people, however the discount i received has been used to the extreme and my pants are screaming NO MORE.

(.as each of us have 1/2 pound boxes waiting for us in our easter baskets.)

.besides work, and being slaves, we volunteered to get some things done around the house, that we knew would put mom in good spirits. we painted the front entry. we finally limited down a color after 5 drives back and forth to the paint store, buying 7 gallons of paint, returning 7 gallons and of paint, and deciding on the REAL color. it looks great, not TOO much, but still adds that extra bit. however, while mom and dad were visiting natalie, jeff and baby daxon, we painted the family room, not telling her. she LOVES it and so do i. it looks SO good. (pictures to post later)

.we also went up to the mountain. the shell gas station was having this, buy 10 gallons of gas, get a buy 1 get 1 free lift ticket. andrew and i made a bet, if he filled up my car we would go. i didn't think i would have a free date, but of course it worked out. we couldn't of went on a more BEAUTIFUL day. i absolutely HATED the first time i went, but this time changed everything. not a lot of people, great weather, clear, warm, and good conditions of beginners. andrew was SUPER sweet and stayed with me most the time. and helped me.

.on our way.
.beautiful day. beautiful mountain.

.us.

.i did it.

.and after working 8 hours at sees, and not seeing each other too much. i am now relaxing, cuddling with my hubby and loving every minute of it. i am so thankful for him, and for the sacrifices he makes for me. thats all we have now folks, slide show below, another post beginning of this week.

.this week.

.this week has been HARD. i have been emotionally drained, knowing that i am soon moving, and have pasted the "1 month until we move" date. i have been physically drained, working ALOT of hours with kirbys, and with sees's, and than getting home and realizing I have no underwear, and having to do laundry at 10 pm to have some for tomorrow. i dont feel stressed, just more "loosing my mind" state. yea, thats it.

.however, through all of my stresses, being drained, i have something, someone that brings a smile to my face, and tears to my eyes knowing i have to say bye in 27 days. Someone I have grown so close to, someone who just makes my worries go away, and my mind cleared. she is more beautiful than anyone i have EVER known. she is simple. she is sweet. she has so much potential in her small body, and she is going to be such an "room brightener" with her personality, and smile. she is smart beyond belief, and knows God even at her small age.

.i am going to stop typing here... because my eyes are filled with tears. i will just leave you with a picture, and you will see why my life is SO good even through this hectic time in my life....because i get to spend time with her.

.5 weeks.

.its starting to settle in. i am starting to realize that in 5 weeks, we are packing up, driving 12 hours, and calling it "home" for the next 2 years at least. dont get me wrong, i am SO READY to have a place of our own, to really fill married.... however, i am realizing the "home" i am leaving, that I have had for 21 years of my life. i have NEVER moved in my life...to most moving i have had, across the hallway to a room of my own. i am pretty scared to be honest, i know i will have my home-sickness at 21, its totally normal.

.andrew laughs at me. he thinks its silly that i am going to get emotional about leaving my mom, my dad, my dog, my house, my washington weather, my washington air, my well water, my kirby family, my church kids, my church "family... and the list goes on. but he has moved almost every year of his life, so he said, he is use to it.

.i am excited to have our "own" place, to decorate our place (CHEAP)... i have enjoyed making purchases from good will, and having to sand it down, and paint it, and call it my own, knowing i didnt spend 100 dollars, but more like 20.

.i am scared, nervous, and will definitely have a breakdown when i have to say bye, but i also excited to start a place of my own, with my hubby :)
